This is one of my favourite songs EVER and I think it shifts between both Sakura and Sasuke's viewpoints, but that is for you to decide. This song would take place after Sasuke has left with the Sound and Sakura is awaiting his return after the genin retrieval team have departed.

[1] I'm actually a little undecided as to who gets this verse. You might think Sasuke intially as he's probably more likely to die (to put it frankly) than Sakura but this would mean he and Sakura are in a steady relationship.

I also think Sakura could sing this mainly due to the "to light the shadows on your face" line as she does seem to help him unloaden burdens and he is the more angsty one of the two.

The "great wave" could signify the Country of the Wave, which for some strange twisted in the reason goes against Konoha. Same with the hidden village of the Stone (is there one) and the Sand.

[2] The chorus fits the current Sakura more as she is willing to go with Sasuke anywhere. This could fit the future Sasuke if they get together as I'm sure he would be protective over the woman who will help him ressurrect his clan.

[3] The beginning of this verse is more Sasuke. More precisely, Sasuke after he has left with the four Sound-nin and the "someone" who brings him back is Naruto. I suppose you could also put it with Sakura since she does want to protect him and make him feel loved.

[5] The bridge just screams Sakura, specifically the Sakura in manga chapter 181 when Sasuke leaves Konoha.

[6] I think this could be either character but maybe Sakura springs to mind first because Sasuke does acknowledge Sakura as an important person (and she was the one who made him counter the Curse Seal) so she may live on in his mind. This verse could also apply to Sasuke as I'm sure Sakura would think about him even if he does stay over on the darkside.

[8] More Sakura than Sasuke in the final verse. Probably chapter 181 again and she wishes she'd followed him or something.
