This is actually the (second?) ending song for DragonBall GT and during my anime nostalgia stage I looked the lyrics up and thought they seemed to fit Sasuke in a SasuSaku situation when he realises he likes Sakura but hasn't said anything yet.

[1] I'll interpret the first verse as Sasuke wanting to observe his teammates before letting them get too close. He has already lost important people once before and so he doesn't want to get too close to these people because he knows a ninja's life is filled with death and sorrow and he is just doesn't want to be hurt again.

The translation I found is a little iffy but I THINK what the song is saying "You thought the only people who wouldn't betray you were your family. It's too lonely a thing when it happens." Yeah, I'm just totally making it fit Sasuke...

[2] Perhaps Sasuke is praying for happy memories after the loss of his clan but he worries about losing them. And.. the second half of the chorus is so Sasuke it's not even funny.

[3] "An event that doesn't help a love that lost its colour". Hmm, I guess the event could be episode 85 where Sasuke gets his ass beaten by Itachi, which is the point he begins to get super angsty about his past which leads to his betrayal.

[4] Okay, this second chorus is a little harder to put with Sasuke but, er, he doesn't like to lose a fight ^^' And really, Sasuke doesn't bother with any girls so for the sake of SasuSaku let's say he's thinking about Sakua here.

[5] ....yeah.

[6] You know how Sakura is always chasing after Sasuke? Well, he's saying she can get him because he'll let her.
