Naruto sees Sasuke as a rival, which is understandable as Sasuke appears to have everything Naruto wants. In the beginning, Sasuke isn't very impressed with Naruto but as Naruto gets stronger, the rivalry increases but so does the bond (as Sasuke admits to once he has gone off to find Orochimaru). Neither would admit it, but both boys would probably die for the other (as seen in the Haku arc) whether it be due to friendship or something deeper (ahem). As a pair, they are very popular due to the "kiss" in the third episode and the rivalry thing which spurs yaoi fangirls on (ie. "I hate you, but I want to screw your brains out").

Sasuke doesn't seem to give her the time of day at the start of the series and acts coldly towards her, but as they go through experiences together, he begins to accept her as a comrade and has saved her on many an occasion, as well as her saving him. He understands that although she is not physically strong, she is bright and can rely on her for support. Kakashi understands each of his students very well and claims that Sasuke is similar to him, and since Sasuke is the most experienced and advanced ninja of team seven, Kakashi probably favours him over the other two. Kakashi even gives Sasuke extra training for the chuunin exam and offers him a lot of guidance and support. Love relationship-wise, the two hearthrobs would be a super-sexy couple but I can actually see Sasuke with Naruto or Sakura more.

The boys first meet up in a tree when team seven (along with Konohamaru Corps) bumps into the Sand team during the chuunin exam saga. Gaara is impressed by Sasuke's ability to directly hit Kankurou's hand and Sasuke is impressed with Gaara's stealth. They finally have their face-off in the third part of the chuunin exam which Gaara has turned into a deathmatch, due to his visit during Sasuke's training. Gaara claims they have the same eyes that have experienced bitter solitude and eyes that contain hatred and seek to kill. Sasuke is probably able to defeat Gaara, but once Shukaku is released all hope of victory is dashed.

Sasuke really does have the same effect on all girls for when Temari sees Sasuke up in the tree after throwing the rock, she thinks he is quite cute. When Sasuke demands to know Gaara's know, she blushed when she mistook him for asking for her name. They later battle it out after the Sand/Sound invasion begins when Genma sent Sasuke after Gaara. Temari underestimates Sasuke but he only pretends to fall for her traps and Temari ends up being the one who is tricked.

Neji is probably more taken by Sasuke first during the registration of the chuunin exam. Neji heard someone refer to Sasuke as part of the Uchiha clan so he realises that this must be the last Uchiha. He later confirms it when he asks Sasuke his name. When they "meet" again in the Forest of Death, Neji is the one who first senses the powerful chakra of Curse Seal Sasuke and thinks of him as a strong enemy and vice versa. When Neji is called to save Sasuke, he obliges but he is the one that understands that Sasuke is probably hidden in the darkness right now and it will be difficult to save him.

These two actually have no interaction at all but let it be known that Tenten was struck by Sasuke's good looks (yeah, along with the rest of the female Konoha population) when they first meet on the second floor at the chuunin registration building. During the preliminaries, she acknowledges Sasuke's power and wonders what the outcome would be if this year's number one rookie is pit against the last year's number one rookie (Neji).

From the moment Lee lays eyes on the Uchiha, he is desperate to fight him and he makes no hesitation in saying so. Lee acknowledges Sasuke as a genius of the Uchiha clan and even though he has the upperhand in their first fight, Sasuke gradually catches up and gains Lee's respect when he shows his growth, especially in the final part of the chuunin exam when he astounds everyone with the speed he gained in just one month. Sasuke also learns from Lee and according to Kakashi, understands him, and that is why Sasuke is able to create the Shishi Rendan and imitate Lee's moves.

These two aren't particularly good friends and they don't really have any real interaction either even though they grew up together at the ninja academy. When the third part of the chuunin exam is interrupted and Shikamaru is asked to go after Sasuke, he says he doesn't really care about Sasuke and the task is troublesome. However, once Sasuke leaves with the Sound and Shikamaru is chosen to lead the squad that is called to go after him, he vows to bring him back no matter what.

Although the two brothers were pretty close when they were young, they are definitely not close after Itachi slaughtered the rest of the Uchiha clan when Sasuke was a young child of eight years. Sasuke's whole purpose in living is to kill this one man and so he calls himself an avenger with this single aim. As a couple, I can see it and I can't. Two sexy Uchihas together, why not?! This happening in the animaga is, of course, extremely unlikely but yaoi fangirls can dream!
