____________//INFO: SASUKE: NAME ♥

"Uchiwa" in Japanese means "fan made of paper and bamboo". In Japanese, "wa" can sometimes be replaced by "ha" in various words or phrases and so, this explains the Uchiha symbol being a red and white fan.

From Online Japanese dictionary:

The name "Sasuke" name is taken from the famous ninja Sarutobi Sasuke, a famous legendary ninja of the Sengoku period. He learned Ninjutsu from Tozawa Hakuunsai of Koga school. Engaged in Sanada Yukimura's battalion as "Sanada Juyushi" (10 heroes of Sanada), he should have died in 1615 during the summer battle of Osaka castle (Osaka natsunojin).

From Kabalarian's Philosophy:

While your name of Sasuke gives you an intense desire to be of service to others, it brings out a practical, technical nature, and you become involved in fussy little details that detract from the fulfilment of your greater ideals. You are a very patient person and will work hard one step at a time to accomplish your goals. Not interested in large undertakings, you are content to live from day to day to save for your future. Always budgeting carefully, you do not believe in frivolous spending. You tend to be thorough in building a solid foundation of fact and logic, but you are not especially imaginative or investigative.

ANALYSIS: I don't think Sasuke strives to be of help to others, though he does help his team out now and again, but his main goal is really to kill Itachi and then re-form his clan. He doesn't REALLY care about the little details other, it's just "OMFG, KILL ANIKI". Sasuke is probably more patient towards the beginning of the series but he can't be all that patient if he thinks his training isn't good enough which results in him betraying the Leaf. "Not interested in large undertakings"? Because the blood of his super-powerful brother on his hands isn't that big a deal.

"Content to live from day to day", apparently he lives only for the day of his brother's death. I've not seen anything that indicates in Sasuke spending money, then again, he is the only character with a huge change in clothing. Sasuke definitely has a "solid foundation of fact and logic", but I wouldn't say he isn't imaginative (he made up the Shishi Rendan, though it was a bit of a copy) and you have to have a sort of inquisitive nature if you're a ninja who's mission is to spy...
