____________//INFO: SASUKE: FAMILY ♥

Doesn't his mother look very young and pretty? As you can see, she is where Sasuke got his hair colour from. From what I can tell, she was a kind mother but who knows how good a kunoichi she was. She saw how hard Sasuke trained just so he could be as respected as Itachi but she told him not to push himself so much. Really, she doesn't play a particularly big role, she mainly cooks a lot, sits by her husband and supports Sasuke.

The younger Sasuke strived so hard to please his father. Uchiha-san often talked highly of Itachi and told Sasuke to become a fine shinobi like his brother so Sasuke trained very hard to live up to his expectations but they seemed to never be enough. Ever since Sasuke heard the words, "As expected from my child," that he said to Itachi, Sasuke has desperately wanted them to be said to him but even though he gained top scores for all subjects at the academy, his father just said, "Keep this up and become a fine shinobi like your brother."
Once Itachi's relationship with their father begins to worsen, Sasuke finally hears the words he has always wanted to hear, yet he feels like he is just a replacement for Itachi. When Sasuke tells his mother this, she tells him that in their private conversations, their father only talks about Sasuke and that is why he is awkward around Sasuke. Oh yeah, he had the Sharingan.

Itachi and Sasuke were actually very close when they were younger. They would often go training together (more like Itachi would do stuff and Sasuke would watch) and Itachi explained a lot of things to Sasuke. When their father does not realise that Sasuke's academy entrance day is approaching, Itachi chooses this over an important mission, reflecting how much he cares about his younger brother and how he does not want Sasuke to be hurt.
Itachi has always been aware of his brother's actions and thoughts yet he sometimes spoke in a rather cryptic way, especially in the time leading up the "the incident". Perhaps the most important of these is, "In order to overcome your barriers, you and I have to continue living together, even if it means hating each other. That's what being an elder brother means."
When the police force accuse Itachi of murdering Shisui, one of the men utters, "Within half a year of your entrance into the ANBU, your actions and speech were getting stranger than ever," yet as Sasuke watches he says he has never seen Itachi act like this, showing that his last bit of kindness was only offered to Sasuke. To reinforce his special relationship with Sasuke, when their father yells at Itachi, he continues talking badly of the Uchiha but when Sasuke interferes, Itachi immediately falls to his knees.
I for one, am hoping Kishimoto is going to throw a huge twist in this and Itachi isn't what he's made out to be. :3

NB: It is said that the person who founded the Konoha police organisation was an Uchiha and that is why the fan emblem used as a symbol on the headquarters building. Before the massacre, a large majority of them worked for the first division of the force helping to keep the order of the village. And just to make the Uchiha clan sound more impressive, only super shinobi can enforce the laws on shinobi crimes.
Before Itachi leaves the scene of the crime, Itachi tells Sasuke that at the Nakano shrine, on the far right side beneath the seventh tatami mat is where the secret Uchiha meeting place is and along with it, Sasuke will find out the true purpose of the Sharingan...
