Sakura used to be bullied by other children when she was younger, due to her big forehead, but Yamanaka Ino managed to coax Sakura out of her shell and they soon became friends. However, when Sakura found out that Ino also liked Sasuke, she declared that they were rivals for his love and have been "enemies" since. But deep down, neither of the girls actually hate each other, as seen during the chuunin exam. Sakura affectionately calls Ino "Ino-pig".

Whilst Sakura likes Sasuke, Naruto likes Sakura and both are victims of unrequited love. At first, Sakura finds Naruto annoying and is unimpressed by his words and actions but as time passes, she begins to get fond of him and accepts him as a loyal friend and team mate. This is especially reinforced when she finds out that he is the one who saved her from Gaara's sand. Unfortunately for Naruto, Sakura is probably too hung up over Sasuke to view him as anything more.

Sakura is one of the many fangirls that Sasuke has. She can't help it, he's cool and good-looking. Primarily, Sakura probably only sees Sasuke in this light but once they are put onto the same team, she begins to understand him more and we can see that she cares for him deeply. What may have begun as a schoolgirl crush may have actually blossomed into something greater and she has helped him out on many an occasion. Kakashi plays a teacher/guardian role in Sakura's life. He protects her a lot during missions and although she is not his strongest student, she is definitely his brightest and he aknowledges this, as well as her chakra control. As a couple, well, I think they'd look quite cute together although he is about ten years her senior. If you imagine her to be a few years older, things could actually work out between them.

From the moment he lays eyes on her, Rock Lee falls in love and vows to protect his "angel" with his life. He bravely admits this to her and is rejected on the spot, but he does not go back on his promise. At first, Sakura is repulsed by him but she soon gains respect for him during certain events and cheers him on during fights as well as visiting him in the hospital with fresh flowers each time.

Although they do not seem to have any interaction at all, I've seen this coupling and I personally think they look pretty cute together. As with Kakashi, however, Genma seems a bit out of her age range.
