Even though Sakura is on a team with the two main characters of this story, very little is known about her family. No one knows whether Sakura's parents are ninjas or not, but most think this is unlikely and I agree only because Sakura does not seem to have any "special powers". If you look at the other genins, they all have special techniques which are passed down from generation to generation or perhaps Sakura's parents specialise in genjutsu. Who knows? Although her parents are alive as opposed to some other characters', we never get to see them.

We do, however, get to hear the voice of Sakura's mother. The first time of which is in the third episode titled "A Rival? Sasuke and Sakura" when Sakura is in her room admiring herself in the mirror. Her mother's voice tells Sakura that she should be leaving now and Sakura thinks to herself how annoying her mother is and how she wishes she weren't treated like a child. I suppose most kids go through this sort of feeling, so it's not irregular.

The second time we hear her voice is in episode fifty-five when Sakura is sitting in her room thinking. The mother voice suddenly comes out with, "Hey, Sakura! Stop sleeping and come help me out!" to which Sakura retorts she isn't sleeping, she is just busy. Mrs. Haruno fustratedly responds, "Okay, okay, and when you are you not going to busy?" ...Later.

We hear her voice a third time in episode eighty-three when she asks Sakura to take some sweets to the Yamanaka's. This time, however, Sakura accepts her mother's request without any negative thoughts. Perhaps this means Sakura has matured or she is in a good mood. This also shows that their families must be quite close.
