Hello # and welcome to "Windswept", an online shrine devoted to the het coupling; Uchiha Sasuke x Haruno Sakura, from the animanga Naruto (created by Kishimoto Masashi).

This site focuses mainly on the anime but the manga is mentioned in some places. Also, there are unmarked spoilers everywhere on the site so if you're not up to date with Naruto and don't want anything spoilt for you, be wary.

Navigation is obviously to your left. The site is continually under constuction so any contributions (pictures, fanfics etc.) will be be greatly appreciated.

02/01/07 Can you believe that I haven't updated in over a year?! I hope you all had a good 2006. I think we've got to face facts and admit Windswept will possibly never be updated again. This shrine will stay here as long as I have the domain though so if you send things in, I will put them up. Thank you for everyone who continues to give me good comments! <3

14/12/05 I thought I'd updated before this... maybe I just never uploaded it. ANYHOW. Added two links (FINALLY), one being an affiliate, as you can see above. SasuSaku sites have multiplied without me even realising. Ha, and this site is dying, I'm sorry! I'm not allowed to download things at university (and they have such a fast connection too) so I've not really been keeping up-to-date with the anime.

Still love SasuSaku though! Holidays are coming up so I'll try to do something. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and a very merry Christmas (or whatever you celebrate). Take care <3

30/10/05 Studio Pierrot announced recently that the filler arcs will last until April 2006 so maybe I will document Sakura's growth. Then again, we're up to episode 157 now and I've only got 145 as AnimeONE haven't released anything. /pointless update

05/0905 I actually had all the summaries for episodes 108+ typed up a while ago, but it was the screenshots that took time. And I finally did those today so now I'm pretty much up to date with that! As I mentioned on the last page of the chronicles, I'm not going to write up the filler arcs anymore as I have limited time but if anyone wants to do it for me, feel free to :P

This also means I've completed Sasuke's history but it was done in a rush so I may clean it up one day. Maybe.

From doing the summaries, I got some nice screencaps that I have to put up some time. I also have a couple of new links and I'm working on some new fanfiction to put up. This is me for now, hope to update soon!

02/08/05 I'm sorry about not updating as often as I should, school things got in the way... starting to type up the episode summaries as I... er... type. I'm on episode 108 and episode 144 has recently been released. This might take a while. Please be patient with me <3

23/03/05 (later) Yeah, this would happen, wouldn't it. After I update about not updating, I actually do some updating.

So thank you to Letty for supplying me with a little more background information on Sasuke's name and some fanart. There is also a new wallpaper up. I fiiiinally got around to uploading "The Butterfly", the mother of all SasuSaku fanfics. Funny how it started off being Sakura x ?? and led to being one of the most famous SasuSaku stories.

I am considering uploading more screencaps and manga scans but I'm not sure. We'll see. Now all I have left to do is update the chronicles of SasuSaku, which shouldn't really take all that long since it's just one (super big SasuSaku) episode.

Windswept has been around for just over half a year and we've had over three thousand visitors. I'd like to thank you all for supporting the site and please feel free to submit your own work!

23/03/05 Hello there, long time no see! I am so, so, so, so, so sorry that Windswept has been left for so long and I thank every single person who has visited during this hiatus, especially those that leave comments in the guestbook.

Unfortunately, the updates I planned to do are still not complete but I hope they will become reality soon. Admittedly, I have fallen behind with the NARUTO anime but I am up to date with the manga. (So Sakura's still thinkg about Sasuke, eh?) Even though Windswept is lagging behind, I hope you all still support SasuSaku, thank you <3

20/11/04 Well, it looks like I was a bit off (damn those filler arcs!) predicting the airing of this episode. That episode (aka chapter 181) is the most recent episode in the anime and its summary is up in its glory in chronicles. Thank you and good night.

04/11/04 The anime is finally back on track with the manga (and speaking of, Sakura is going to become useful!) and all episodes up to the current one have been summarisd (in terms of Sasu/Saku).

Nothing else new to report. But that's not the way it should be! Looking at the counter, nearly 1000 people have visited this site, at least one person among you must have fanart or something to contribute? T_T *plead*?

06/09/04 Wow, I haven't updated for a whole month. Mainly because no one has sent anything in so I can't add anything! *hint* I have been adding tiny observations to the chronicles but it's nothing to boast about. That chapter is coming up soon though! Possibly around December-time.

Speaking of the manga... Kishimoto is nearing the end of the current arc, oh the exictement! So what had to happen, has happened and all Kishimoto has to do is tie-up the loose ends.

On a random note, "Tennis no Oujisama" rules.

07/09/04 One new Sakura wallpaper up by Wa, my lovely sister site.

School starts in a couple of days and there is nowhere near enough time to do my homework and let's not go into uni applications. Ah well, might as well spend the rest of my freedom SasuSaku-ing then!

04/09/04 - Long time no update. Well, Sakura and Sasuke are finally back in the anime (episode 98) only for Sakura will disappear for a long time once more in the near future. But yes, last week's episode came with a nice SasuSaku moment.

I also changed the predictor intro to make it seem more relevant to this site and not some pointless feature. Also added 50 questions (for the SasuSaku fan) so you can have fun filling that in.

New fanfics! Yaaaay! Three GREAT stories up for you to read. One of the three is a serial but I am too tired to code it so only the first chapter is up right now but never fear, the rest will be up tomorrow.

So, people. Please submit things!

One last point; I really enjoyed the lastest manga chapter (#229) and my hope for Sasuke has been rekindled. It's very, very small, but something is there :P!

19/08/04 - New, small songs section up just for fun. Not much there yet and I think it will fill up veeery slowly (unless people contribute, AHEM)...

18/08/04 - Currently having fun with the links page and as you can see above, we are now affiliated with Free Walk, a Naruto fanfic site with a suuuupaa-nice webmistress!

There is also a new wallpaper up by Ray and some new fanart by Wa (owner of Free Walk).

13/08/04 - I didn't actually expect to finish the chronicles as fast as I did but they're up, FINALLY! I think I still need to read through them because I waffle and I'm sure there are spelling errors dotted around.

Along with that are many new sections up in info. These include: Sakura's childhood, their families, homes and SasuSaku moments. I also juggled around the jutsu pages and added more characters to both relationship pages.

At this point, I'd like to say that "Windswept" is 95% complete. Anything important is online and I may have some surprises left (like that supaa soundclip) but for now, I feel my work is complete :P

11/08/04 - Added a new link, whoo! The SasuSaku chronicles are going quite well, though I think I have strayed very far from my original intent. Nothing is up yet but just so you know, I've done episodes 1-40 and 61-current and the whole thing should be up sometime next week, IF I get it all done.

Along with that, I will have a few new pages up, nothing too exciting but you will get a closer look into the lives of Sakura and Sasuke and we all love that, don't we. There should also be a whole horde of SasuSaku links for you to enjoy.

Random comment: Sasuke is gaining a lot of haters and will have a lot more if he keeps acting the way he is in the manga T_T Sou.. I was looking at the first page for chapter four and even back then, Kishimoto-san knew how team seven would turn out. Well.. duh, he did create the story >_>. /RANDOM

03/08/04 - It feels like I haven't updated since forever but this is how I neglect my sites. Often for much longer periods of time so get used to it!

I've done "their story" from episodes 61-current and will be working on 1-60 soon, but I'm in a DBGT and Gundam Wing nostalgia phase right now so Naruto is on hold :X

Whilst I type that up, I am also working on "relationships" and "history" for both Sakura and Sasuke, as well as a couple other information sections, so once "their story" is up, this shrine should be stuffed with SasuSaku information.

For now, please be content with a bit of altering in the names sections (Sasuke & Sakura) and some fanart from Brianna, yaaay <3

Also, I have a AMAZING sound clip of Sasuke confessing his love, but to whom? >D OHOHOHO~! I shall leave you in suspense.

30/07/04 - Added a wallpaper by Robert. I WILL start "their story" tonight but I'll be starting from episode 61, so that section will probably stay empty until I watch episode one again.

29/07/04 - Added a bunch of fanfics from Rin aka Sunfreak. I also managed to make screencaps of Sasuke's jutsus in Windows Movie Maker but it takes forever to import a file to that program, so except "their story" to take a while.

25/07/04 - This is odd, I don't usually update sites as often as this. You're lucky, SasuSaku people. Well, I was intending to start "their story" (ie. re-watch the anime) but instead I cut and uploaded a bunch of screencaps, anime and manga pictures.

I also watched the 2004 Naruto special and omfg, so many Sasuke jutsu screencap opportunities but VirtualDub decided to be gay again --;

24/07/04 - Added some more fanart, updated the links out page, added tables to the gallery (but it turned out so bad T_T) and... what's up with the counter on my index page? >_> It won't leave no matter what I do, I only need the one counter that's on THIS page *wail*

Most of the site is finished but there are small bits I still need to do in each section and parts that I need to expand on. Gambaru, this is what the summer holidays are for~

20/07/04 - I've come to the conclusion that "Windswept" is more like a combination of a Sasuke and a Sakura shrine and the site merely, and coincidentally, supports the pairing. :D;
